InvestSmart® Fest 2024

InvestSmart® is the Securities Commission Malaysia’s investor education initiative to empower investors to become more informed, self-reliant, and capable of making investment decisions. Since its inception in 2014, InvestSmart® has actively engaged the public nationwide through various initiatives, educating them on a broad range of investment-related topics. These initiatives include the annual flagship event InvestSmart® Fest, Bersama InvestSmart® @ Borneo, SC-in-the-Community, educational talks, the InvestSmart® website, and active presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X and Tik Tok.

Why attend?

We will once again make available FREE one-hour financial planning consultation sessions with licensed financial planners under the #FinPlan4u® initiative. There will be 600 one-to-one sessions throughout the 3-day event. This initiative is also in collaboration with FPAM (“Financial Planning Association of Malaysia”) and MFPC (“Malaysian Financial Planning Council”).

The one-to-one sessions will be held at Hall 2 & Hall 3, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre are available on first come first served basis. No pre-registration required. 

This year we are happy to bring to you new and exciting additions to all visitors such as:

• An anti-scam pavilion featuring the SC, the Association of Banks Malaysia (“ABM”) and National Scam Response Centre (“NSRC”). It will serve as a one-stop centre for visitors to learn more on the current scams and how to protect yourself.
• A comic strip wall featuring InvestSmart® mascots with hilarious content and important messaging. You will stand to win exciting prizes when you answer simple questions on the comic strips.
• A new anti-scam video by our very own homegrown comedian, Douglas Lim, which will be launched at 11^th October 2024 at 3pm.
• A Kid Zone to keep your children occupied in a safe space while you explore our Fest.
