InvestSmart®@Pahang 2025

InvestSmart^® is the Securities Commission Malaysia’s (SC) investor education initiative aimed to create more informed investors who are self-reliant and are able to make investment decisions that are right for them. Since its launch in 2014, InvestSmart^® has carried out various initiatives to reach out to the public.

InvestSmart^® initiatives includes the annual flagship events InvestSmart^® Fest & Bersama InvestSmart^®, SC-in-the-Community and InvestSmart^®@ SC. We also publish the latest news and updates on our Investsmart^® website and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

Bersama InvestSmart^®@Pahang 2025 is the SC’s annual flagship event for retail investors outside of Klang Valley that seeks to: 

• Raise awareness about the importance of retirement planning
• Create awareness on the various products and services available and the opportunity to increase their wealth by investing in legitimate capital market investment products offered in Malaysia.; and 
• Raise awareness on investment scams and fraud.

This year’s event will be held at the main concourse of East Coast Mall, Kuantan, Pahang between 20 – 22 June 2025. The 3-day event, themed Bijak Labur Hidup Makmur will bring together capital market institutions, associations, industry players and relevant agencies under one roof. The event will also showcase products and services offered by capital market intermediaries including stocks, bonds, unit trusts, private retirement schemes (PRS), equity crowdfunding (ECF), peer-to-peer financing (P2P), digital investment management (DIM) and digital asset exchanges (DAX) amongst others.

The event will showcase talks, panel discussions, and fireside chats with leading industry experts who will share their insights on the Malaysian capital market and the investment opportunities it offers.

#FinPlan4u®

We will once again make available FREE one-hour financial planning consultation sessions with licensed financial planners under the #FinPlan4u^® initiative. There will be over 200 one-to-one sessions throughout the 3-day event. This initiative will be carried out in collaboration with FPAM (“Financial Planning Association of Malaysia”) and MFPC (“Malaysian Financial Planning Council”).

This free session will be offered on first come first served basis. No pre-registration is required.  

Look out for following exciting and informative initiatives such as:

• An anti-scam zone featuring the SC, the Association of Banks Malaysia (ABM) and National Scam Response Centre (NSRC). It will serve as a one-stop centre for visitors to learn more on the current scams and how to protect yourself.
• A Kid Zone to keep your children occupied in a safe space while you explore our Fest.

Lucky Draw

Throughout the event, the public can win shopping vouchers by participating in our quizzes. All you need to do is to listen to our talks and answer simple questions to win.

You can also win great prizes by participating in our lucky draws which will take place twice a day throughout the 3-day. To be eligible, you need to complete the passport activity by visiting all the exhibitors’ booths and #FinPlan4u^® counter, listen to our talks and complete our surveys. You will learn and at the same time win prizes. It’s easy!
