InvestSmart® Fest 2025

InvestSmart® is the Securities Commission Malaysia’s investor education initiative to empower investors to become more informed, self-reliant, and capable of making investment decisions. Since its inception in 2014, InvestSmart® has engaged the public through various initiatives, educating them on a broad range of investment-related topics. These initiatives include the annual flagship event InvestSmart® Fest, Bersama InvestSmart® @ Borneo, SC-in-the-Community, educational talks, the InvestSmart® website, and active presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X and Tik Tok.

This year InvestSmart® Fest 2025 (“ISF 2025”), themed Bijak Labur Hidup Makmur, will be held from 24 – 26 October 2025 at Hall 3 + foyer, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Mid Valley Mall in conjunction with the Financial Literacy Month 2025. The 3-day event aims to empower the Malaysian public to be a smart investor, particularly in a time when investments scams are rampant.

ISF 2025 will unite capital market institutions, associations, industry players, and relevant agencies all under one roof. The event will highlight products and services offered by capital market intermediaries, including stocks, bonds, unit trusts, private retirement schemes (PRS), exchange-traded funds (ETF), equity crowdfunding (ECF), peer-to-peer financing (P2P), digital investment management (DIM), and digital asset exchanges (DAX).

The event will showcase talks, panel discussions, and fireside chats with leading industry experts who will share their insights on the Malaysian capital market and the investment opportunities it offers.

#FinPlan4u®

We will once again make available FREE one-hour financial planning consultation sessions with licensed financial planners under the #FinPlan4u® initiative. There will be over 550 one-to-one sessions throughout the 3-day event. This initiative is brough to you in collaboration with Financial Planning Association of Malaysia(“FPAM”), Malaysian Financial Planning Council (“MFPC”) and Association of Financial Advisers Malaysia (“AFA”).

The one-to-one sessions will be held at Hall 3, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre are available on first come first served basis. No pre-registration required.

Anti-Scam Zone

Introduced in 2024, the Anti-Scam zone will continue this year with participation from the Association of Banks Malaysia (“ABM”) and the National Scam Response Centre (“NSRC”). The zone provides visitors with up-to-date information on scam modus operandi and practical steps to avoid from falling victim to scams.
